The Boston Globe: Digital Opinion/Editorial Products

As the Opinion section's Digital Editor, I wrote editorials and reported opinion articles, as well as edited and produced all online-only content for the Opinion/Editorial and Ideas sections.

I created a new section for short takes from internal columnists called Op/Extra and led a revolution in interactive and live video content in the newsroom. I increased page views dramatically, changed workflows, led workshops on SEO, and brought the Opinion section into the 21st century. Columnist Joanna Weiss and I wrote and produced the EPPY finalist Boston.Comment blog. I was honored to be the resident "young lefty"/"tech nerd" on the Boston Globe Editorial Board.

Along with the rest of the Boston Globe staff, I won a Pulitzer Prize in 2014 for Breaking News Reporting for coverage of the Boston Marathon bombings.

You can some read examples of my work on feminism, drone regulations, foreign policy, the Millennial generation and technology
